'Pinot, Please': Brunette the Label has the sweater for you on #PinotNoirDay
This end-of-summer collaboration was a perfect fit for Brunette the Label, a Canadian company known for using witty, hashtag-able phrases on their clothes (like 'Fries Before Guys' or 'Babes Supporting Babes') with a focus on female empowerment.
The label's founder Miriam Alden said she "jumped at the chance" to team up with California wine company Meiomi to celebrate Pinot Noir Day on August 18. Alden was inspired to design the 'Pinot, Please' sweater in a bold hue for wine lovers who want to share their enthusiasm for the drink.
"To us, 'Babes supporting Babes' is about collaboration over competition, and always making room to grow together. It is choosing to take yourself out of the equation and always choosing to support one another," said Alden.
The 'Pinot, Please' sweater is ready for preorder online, $79.99, and for a limited time in stores at Nordstrom's.
